IID offers residential customer rebates on ENERGY STAR qualified products. 2010 qualifying product categories include:
Energy-efficient central air conditioners/heat pumps, $75 - $100 per unit depending upon SEER rating - enhanced rebates are available for replacement of operational equipment with qualifying energy efficient systems through the Quality AC Maintenance Program
ENERGY STAR qualified room air conditioners, $50 per unit
ENERGY STAR qualified dual pane windows, $2 /square foot – retrofit only, must have a solar heat gain coefficient (SHGC) and U-factor of .40 or less
Variable Speed Pool Pumps, $200 a unit – single speed to variable speed retrofits only
ENERGY STAR qualified refrigerators, $50 each
Applications for rebates totaling $2,500 or more require pre-approval.
