PAYMENTS BY INTERNET IID Energy offers customers an on-line bill payment option. Click here to be directed to our log-in page. PAYMENTS BY MAIL Enclose the bottom portion of your bill with your payment using the self-addressed envelope provided in your billing. Please pay by check or money order only - sending cash through the mail is risky. Top PAYMENTS IN PERSON You may pay your bill at any IID office or authorized pay station. Please bring with you both sections of the bill and pay by personal check, money order or cash. Some IID offices are also equipped with after-hours drop boxes. Top EZ PAY PROGRAM With the EZ PAY program, you can have your monthly electric bill automatically deducted from your designated checking or savings account. To get started, print and complete the authorization form below. Once completed, return the form to to IID Energy along with a voided check. IID Energy will then inform your financial institution of the amount due each month and the bank will automatically deduct that amount from the pre-designated account on the Amount Due By date shown on the lower portion of the statement.
You will receive your bill monthly showing the amount due and the date due. Payments will be itemized on your monthly banking statement. There is no charge to sign up for EZ PAY, but a $20 fee will be assessed to electric bills for non-sufficient funds. If a payment is rejected by a financial institution more than three times within a 12-month period, IID Energy reserves the right to terminate your participation. Top AVERAGE BILL PAY PROGRAM To avoid erratic power bills, customers can take advantage of our Average Bill Pay Program. The plan works as follows: Your average bill is determined by totaling your power bills for the past year, adding an inflation factor, and dividing by 12 For the next 11 months, you will be billed according to the new averaged bill amount Each month your meter is read as normal and you will receive a statement reflecting the usage, but billing the averaged amount In your 12th month of participation, you will receive a settlement statement which should be close to the averaged amount. However, an increase or decrease in consumption may cause a larger settlement or a credit For more information about the average bill pay program, call (760) 355-1112 or our toll-free number 1-800-303-7756. Top PAYMENT EXTENSIONS Please remember that IID Energy bills post-consumption. The credit extension for service provided to you is a courtesy, so please pay your bill by the date listed on the invoice to maintain a good credit standing. If you receive a delinquent notice on your account, please issue payment immediately at one of the IID Energy offices or call (760) 355-1112 or 800-303-7756 to make arrangements and keep your account current. Please do not use our pay stations to remit payment for a delinquent account. Customers facing disconnection for non-payment are encouraged to take advantage of our Emergency Energy Assistance Program (EEAP).
