All full-time, active, regular, at work employees are eligible to enroll in our 401 (a) Retirement Plan, for the first of the month following six months of continuous employment with IID. What is contributed? IID provides a contribution of 7% of your monthly base salary. There is no mandatory match by the employee required. You may elect to Contribute after-tax contributions of up to 18% of your monthly base salary. You may contribute up to 25% of your monthly base salary, including IID’s allowable portion of any after-tax portion up to $40,000 per year. New Employees Newly hired employees are automatically enrolled in the 401(a) Plan. You will receive an enrollment kit approximately 45 days prior to your effective date of participation in the plan. If you do not receive your enrollment kit please contact the provider immediately at (800) 523-1188. It is your responsibility to complete the required forms and return them to the provider. Investment Fund Line-up There are a variety of investment funds to select from. The default fund is the Vanguard Target Retirement Series. What this means is, if you do not complete the investment Direction Form, contributions by IID will automatically be directed to this fund. You may select other funds at a later date. |
