IID has four deferred compensation plans available for enrollment.  Participation is on a voluntary basis and contributions are payroll deducted on a pre-tax basis.  This type of program is to supplement and enhance your retirement income.  You may enroll in one of the deferred comp plans at any time during the year.

All of these plans are available for enrollment and representatives are available, on site throughout the year at most IID locations. 

Deferred compensation plans are supplemental retirement plans, not savings accounts. Funds may only be withdrawn upon termination of your employment with the district or for hardship withdrawals as identified by IRS code. 

Your completed enrollment paperwork will be submitted to the Employee Benefits Section for processing.  Your payroll deduction will begin the pay period following receipt of the completed and signed forms. Benefits will forward your paperwork to the selected company so your account may be established.
