The goal of IID’s disability management program is to effectively and economically reduce the financial impact to the employee, IID, and to IID’s customers by managing work and non-work related absences due to injuries and illness, returning employees to work when medically appropriate or when reasonable accommodation is available, and to boost employee morale representing IID’s concern for the health and financial welfare of the employee.
