IID Employee vision coverage is currently provided by:

VSP has a network of participating vision care providers that provide the servivces at uniform costs.  IID pays the premium and claim costs for employees’/dependents’ vision care benefits. Dependent children are covered up to age 21, providing they are not married or employed full-time.  They are covered up to age 24 if they are full-time students.  Student verification is required by VSP. 

Schedule of Benefits: 

• Deductible: $20 
• Vision Examination:     every 12 months 
• Lenses-only if needed:  every 12 months 
• Frames-only if needed:  every 24 months
