Imperial County extends over 4,597 square miles, bordering on Mexico to the south, Riverside County to the north, San Diego County on the west, and the State of Arizona on the east.  

Imperial County has been identified as a major source of renewable energy with an estimated 1950 MW of geothermal energy reserves as well as 25 percent of the state of California’s entire solar generation potential. 

Imperial County is the only region in the nation with the potential to develop renewable energy from geothermal, solar, wind, biomass and algae. This property is uniquely situated near the Imperial Valley substation and electrical transmission corridors with a combined acreage of 2900.35 acres of land, consisting of 23 parcels and 9 ranches.  The property is currently incoming producing agricultural use, but has excellent potential for renewable energy development or other commercial/industrial use.
