Water Department- Irrigation & Drainage Services - Water Services - Water Accounts - Rural Pipe Accounts -

Due to changes in the federal and state Safe Drinking Water Acts, IID water users who receive canal water at their homes or businesses must have an alternate source of water for drinking and cooking purposes.

If you are not currently receiving water from one of the DHS Approved Providers, a municipal (city) water system, or a private permitted water system (not a point-of-entry filtration system), you must arrange to have water delivered to your home or business by a DHS Approved Provider or your domestic canal water connection will be terminated.

Department of Health Services (DHS) Approved Providers:

We regret the inconvenience.  Please call our water hotline if you have not yet filled out a questionnaire or if you have any other questions regarding your domestic canal water connection.

For questions please contact Resources, Planning & Management at (760)339-9751.
