IID is pleased to announce its auction services, for the sale of surplus goods, available on its online solicitation website. Along with our current capability to offer business opportunities for vendors to submit solicitation responses, the general public now have access to purchase IID’s surplus items through an online auction process.
To start: interested parties should create a personal profile on our bidding website. When setting up your profile, enter your company name in the ‘Company Name’ field (enter your own name in the ‘Company Name’ field if you do not have a company) and your personal name in the ‘Name’ field. When entering your profile information please choose vendor category “2210 - Auction (IID) / Salvage” under the AUCTIONS section so that we can contact you with newly posted auction items.
Please be sure to read the complete online auction sales terms and conditions document posted on our auction website to understand all rules and conditions that will apply to surplus sales and use of our auction website. Please note that you are subject to IID’s online auction sales terms and conditions when you create a profile or by placing bids on auction items.
On the first business day following the close of an auction, if you were the high bidder, you will be notified by email. Following the close of the auction, you will have five business days in which to make full payment and pickup your auction item. California Sales Tax will be added to your final bid price.
Additionally, IID also offers surplus tangible property by sales through third party public auction sites, eBay, sealed bid or other appropriate methods of disposal in accordance with policy. Some surplus items may be sold at the public auction on eBay through the Interscholastic Trading company “Interschola”. Items for sale by auction on eBay may be accessed by visiting www.interschola.com.
