3-Step Process

Thank you for your interest in IID's PV/Solar Solutions Incentive Program, the reservation period is now closed. If you submitted a reservation during the acceptance period, you will receive a notification between February 8th and the 25th regarding the funding status for your project. Funding for projects is limited and will be awarded in accordance to a random selection process. Please continue to visit our website for periodic program updates.

Step 1 - Reservation (Standard)

The Reservation Form must be completed through PowerClerk http://iid.powerclerk.com, during the reservation period.

PV incentives can be reserved for six months for residential projects and ten months for commercial, government, non-profit and public entity projects.

  • Completed reservation form and signed program contract   
  • Electrical system sizing documentation
  • Signed energy-efficiency disclosure form*
  • Signed commitment agreement [PDF]*
    • (EPBI existing commercial buildings ≥100,000 square feet and bench marking <75) - proof of bench marking documentation required*
  • Proof of at least 15% above current Title 24 Standards (new construction only)*
  • Copy of new construction building permit (new construction only) 
  • Documentation of an energy efficiency audit if you have not met Title 24 or other exemptions. Title 24 documentation is mandatory for new construction.
     

Reservation (Other Technologies)  

  • Completed reservation form and program contract with signatures
  • Electrical system sizing documentation
  • Documentation of an Energy Efficiency Audit* if you have not met Title 24 or other exemptions. Title 24 documentation is mandatory for new construction.*
  • Documentation of an energy efficiency audit if you have not met Title 24 or other exemptions. Title 24 documentation is mandatory for new construction
  • Copy of Sandia National Laboratories or SRCC test report or performance parameter summary.
  • Copy of annual production estimate model inputs and results – acceptable models are the Solar Advisory Model or TRNSYS*

Step 2 - Milestone

The Milestone Form must be completed through PowerClerk http://iid.powerclerk.com

Within 90 calendar days of the date on the initial Confirmed Reservation Notice, the Milestone package with all supporting documentation must be submitted to demonstrate to IID the project is progressing and that there is a sustained commitment to complete the project within the allowed timeline.

Step 3 - Incentive

The Incentive Form must be completed through PowerClerk http://iid.powerclerk.com.

Upon project completion and prior to the reservation expiration date, applicant must submit a completed Incentive Form along with all of the necessary documentation.

  • Completed Incentive form and program contract with signatures  
    • PV Incentive Form - Other Technologies 
  • PMRS Cost Cap Exemption document (if no eligible PMRS is installed) - (EPBI only)
  • Final invoice (includes equipment (make/model/quantity), total project cost, host customer name and site address)
  • Executed PDP/PMRS contract (PBI only)
  • Signed-off building permit
  • Revised copy of annual estimate model inputs and results (if applicable)
