The Political Reform Act (PRA), Government Code Section 81000, et seq., requires state and local government agencies to adopt and promulgate a conflict of interest code. The code must be reviewed and amended every two years to conform with changes to the relevant provisions of law and, as necessary, amended where circumstances change, such as the creation of new or changed employee positions and duties.
