IID's Information Technology Department is responsible for all duties associated with the application of computers to store, study, retrieve, transmit, and manipulate data and information. Several sections, including Network & PC Support, GIS, Customer Support (IID Help Desk), Customer Applications, Development & Portal Support, Corporate Infrastructure, Work & Asset Management Applications, Enterprise Applications, Finance & HR Applications, Telecommunications and Records Management comprise the department.

Enterprise System Catalog

Senate Bill 272, approved on October 11, 2015, adds a section to the California Public Records Act requiring local agencies to create a catalog of Enterprise Systems by July 1, 2016 with annual updates.
