Local Hazard Mitigation Plan

The Imperial Irrigation District Local Hazard Mitigation Plan (LHMP) is a strategic framework designed to identify, assess, and mitigate risks posed by natural disasters to IID’s infrastructure, operations, and the communities it serves. Developed in compliance with the Disaster Mitigation Act of 2000, this plan is IID’s first independent hazard mitigation initiative, covering Imperial County, parts of Riverside County, and portions of San Diego County.
