A. Programmable Thermostat

Thermostat must meet Title 24 requirements and have the ability to automatically adjust the temperature setting of the heating and cooling system at pre-selected times.

B. Vending Miser

Vending Misers reduce the energy consumption of vending machines by using an occupancy sensor to power down the lights and compressor. A temperature sensor powers the machine back up as needed to keep items at the appropriate temperature.

C. Package Terminal Air Conditioners and Heat Pumps (PTACs)

Units must have an EER2 of ≥ 12.7

D. Energy Efficient Motors

Motors covered under this program must be new three-phase induction motors, NEMA Design A and B from at least 1 HP in size to 200 HP ODP or TEFC motors with 1200, 1800 or 3600 RPM and operate at least for 2000 hours per year. These motors are used for HVAC fans, pumping and conveyance applications and are based on California’s Title 24 standards. The minimum nominal full-load motor efficiencies and incentives for the permanently wired, three-phase motors are listed in the Energy Rewards Guidelines at www.iid.com.
