IID will pick up your old refrigerator and pay you $50!

IID can help lower your monthly energy bill - and pay you to do it! Right now, you can receive $50 to recycle your old, working refrigerator. Plus, we will even pick it up free of charge and properly recycle it.

While your old, inefficient appliance in your garage may provide extra storage, continuing to operate inefficient appliances costs you money and generates excessive greenhouse gas emissions. Properly recycling old electrical appliances permanently removes them from the electric grid, conserves resources and helps protect the environment. 

How to Participate   

• You must be an IID residential electric customer and owner of the refrigerator.
• Your appliance must be in working order (cooling) and be between 10 and 30 cubic feet in size.
• Your appliance will be picked up at no charge from the address listed on your billing account.
• The $50 reward will be mailed to you approximately 6 to 8 weeks after pickup of your refrigerator.
• Limit two appliances per household, per year.
